The cost of services is based on the amount of clinical time required for the evaluation. Variables such as the number and type of tests administered, as well as the specific diagnostic questions, can influence the total time involved. Estimated time and fees are reviewed during the initial consultation to ensure clarity and transparency.

For learning disability, ADHD, and psychological assessments, it is important to note that most insurance plans do not cover these services. As a result, Longmont Psychology is considered an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly. Many insurance plans, however, allow clients to submit out-of-network claims for potential partial reimbursement of out-of-pocket costs. If you wish to explore this option for assessment or therapy, please contact your insurance provider for details about your coverage. When applicable, we will provide detailed documentation (a “Superbill”) to assist with your claim, though reimbursement cannot be guaranteed.

Longmont Psychology adheres to a “no surprises” billing policy to ensure transparency and trust. The fee quoted for services will not change unless the adjustment is in the client’s favor. If additional services are recommended after the completion of the original evaluation, a new quote will be provided for your review and approval. Clients have full control over which services are authorized. Although it is uncommon for services to require less time than estimated, if this occurs and it affects billing, our office will issue an appropriate refund.

We also have a limited number of sliding scale spots reserved for people experiencing financial hardship.
